Cricket v Coogee at Queens Park
Juniors    lost    Score: 75-65 Player of the Week: The whole team
Seniors    won    Score: 41-39 Player of the Week: Aaron
Highlights: A fantastic Senior game. All bowlers bowled particularly well and didn’t give away too many easy runs. Aaron timed the ball impressively but it was up to Jason to hit the winning run. The Juniors just missed out but tried hard in all facets of the game.

Senior Girls v Randwick 1 Senior Girls    won    Score: 4-0 Player of the Week: Ali (Junior who played up)
Senior Boys v Bellevue Hill v Randwick (2 team) Knockout Senior Boys    lost    Score: 0-1 Player of the Week:
Highlights: The mixed Junior team worked very hard and managed to pull back from an early try made by the opposition. Each team player listened well to the advice of their Captain (Jasper) and spaced out to receive the ball. Senior boys and girls also played well with the Senior girls managing to win with a whopping 4-0!

Highlights:As Bellevue Hill were at their swimming carnival, no game was played today. Instead a good training session was held where both teams batted extremely well.

Juniors v Clovelly 1 Juniors lost Score: 7-3 Player of the Week: Harry K.

Senior Girls v Randwick + Clovelly Senior Girls Drew Score: 2-2

Player of the Week: Mia C.

Senior Boys v Rose Bay Senior Boys Drew Score: 1-1

Player of the Week: Sandy S.

Highlights: All teams played despite the bad weather. Senior boys and girls played well with equally matched opponents. The junior team kept up their energy until the very end scoring a try within the last few seconds.

Cricket v Paddington at Queens Park Juniors won    Score: 28 to 19 Player of the Week: Luke
Seniors    won    Score: 43 to 39 Player of the Week: Bruno
Highlights: In the Juniors, Luke and Thomas bowled accurately. Michael & Nazim hit some nice shots. Kosta ran well with his partner. Jason took a wicket in his first time as bowler. All bowlers bowled tightly and didn’t give many runs away. Well done both teams!

Senior Girls v Coogee  won    Score: 3-2 Player of the Week: Maria
Senior Boys v Bellevue Hill 2  won    Score: 4-1 Player of the Week: Whole Team!
Highlights: All teams played exceptionally well. James and Harry worked hard to keep up their team’s defence, ensuring a strong win for the Juniors. In the Senior teams the boys worked well together and the Senior girls kept up pos- session of the ball by making some fast paced runs and tagging their opponents quickly.

PSSA results from games played on 12/2/2010 Cricket    v Glenmore Rd    at Queens Park
Juniors lost    Score: 7.5 to 4.5 Player of the Week: Nazim
Seniors lost    Score: 77 to 73 Player of the Week: Tom
Highlights: Tom took 4 wickets & scored 25 runs in the Senior game. Bruno took 2 excellent catches. Deniz & Daniel batted sensibly at the end of the game. Good performances from both teams in their first game.
OzTag v at Centennial Park Juniors  lost    Score: 3-1
Player of the Week: George
Senior Girls    won    Score: 3-0 Player of the Week: Chloe
Senior Boys  lost    Score: 4-1 Player of the Week: Sandy
Highlights: In Senior boys (despite a loss) all boys played very well. Sandy made a few good runs and managed to score. The Senior girls were on a winning streak managing to take an early lead through to victory. Our Junior team put in a fantastic first game and were able to keep up their energy until the finish.

School Swimming Carnival

Congratulations to all students for making our swimming carnival a huge success. We were able to assess many students on their swimming ability and it was also pleasing to see more children competing in the 50m races. Many thanks to our teachers for their tireless efforts all day!
The house captains worked hard making up the relay teams and leading the fantastic war cries. Well Done!
The winning house was Balamarra followed by Pindaree, Kurpinta and Mirrabooka. Congratulations! The Sydney Coastal Zone Carnival will be held at the Des Renford Centre on Wednesday 3rd March.
